The Blues.......and browns.

I fired two kiln loads back to back. The first was mostly blues, in anticipation of my upcoming trip to North Carolina. The second was all browns, since the glaze I use does better fired a cone lower than the rest of the glazes I have. I think I am getting better with the camera too, which is exciting.

This first piece is an extruded vase. Bonnie purchased a Bailey Standard 9 extruder. It can extrude hollow forms up to about ten inches across. LOTS of potential here!


These mugs I made as gifts for the moderators on my online forum. I too am a mod, and we are having a get together this weekend. I am looking forward to meeting them, but more to seeing how they like the mugs!



And now the browns. These are slab and drape mold plates, and bowls to match. I had a lot of fun making these.
