Firings, good and bad

I filled the kiln with stuff to bisque and fired it up early this week. It was an unmitigated disaster. I lost 50% of the good stuff in there. I was pretty disheartened, but forged on. I wanted to get more pieces listed on my Etsy shop. I glazed and fired on Wednesday and opened the kiln late Thursday. There are a few nice pieces, and a few with cracks. I am going to blame it on the 100 degree weather. It is nice to have something to blame it on.
